INTRODUCTION

 PROPHET Muhammad (Peace be upon Him) was the first in history to ask his followers to believe and respect the founders of other religions and instill in them interreligious tolerance.

 In this tumultuous age of warfare, strife and tolerance let us pause and take a look at the Prophet’s call to save mankind from being pushed into chaotic upheavals and conflicts. The Holy Quran which was revealed through the messenger of God, the Prophet Muhammad (May peace be upon Him), proclaims the message of peace inherent in Islam, “There is no compulsion in religion”,and, “Unto you, your religion, unto me, my religion”.
